Fantasy Rivals — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fantasy Rivals mobile application ("the App," "Fantasy Rivals," or "FR"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Fantasy Rivals is operated by Teny Riak Teny, a sole proprietor based in the United Kingdom ("we," "us," or "our").

1. About Fantasy Rivals

Fantasy Rivals is a free-to-play football pick'em and fantasy football application. You earn points by making correct predictions about real-world football matches. You can create and join leagues, compete in head-to-head challenges, and climb leaderboards.

Fantasy Rivals does not involve real money wagering, cash prizes, or gambling of any kind. All competition within the App is points-based only. No entry fees are charged and no monetary rewards are distributed to users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Fantasy Rivals. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete their account and associated data.

If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Phone verification

To create an account you must verify your mobile phone number via a one-time passcode (OTP). We do not offer email-and-password registration.

3.2 Profile information

During setup you will be asked to provide:

• A display name (visible to other users)
• Your date of birth (used solely for age verification; not displayed publicly)
• An optional profile photo / avatar

3.3 Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of the phone number linked to your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@fantasyrivals.app.

3.4 One account per person

Each person may maintain only one active account. We reserve the right to merge or remove duplicate accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Fantasy Rivals you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration
• Treat other users with respect
• Refrain from using offensive, discriminatory, or harassing language in display names, avatars, or any user-generated content
• Not attempt to exploit bugs, manipulate leaderboards, or gain an unfair advantage through automated tools or scripts
• Not impersonate another person or entity
• Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice.

4.1 User-generated content and zero tolerance

Fantasy Rivals lets you post content such as chat messages, display names, and avatars ("User Content"). We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Objectionable content includes, without limitation, content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, bullying, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity. You are solely responsible for the User Content you post, and by posting it you confirm it does not violate these Terms.

To keep the community safe, every user can:

• Report objectionable content or abusive users from within the App; and
• Block any user, which immediately hides their messages and content from you.

We review reports of objectionable content and abusive behaviour and aim to act on them — including removing the content and suspending or permanently banning the responsible accounts — within 24 hours. We may remove any User Content and suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

5. Points, Leagues, and Challenges

5.1 Points

Points are a virtual, in-app metric with no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged, transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash, goods, or services. We may adjust the points system, scoring rules, or leaderboard calculations at any time.

5.2 Leagues and challenges

Users may create leagues and head-to-head challenges. League creators may set league-specific rules (such as privacy settings or joining requirements), but all leagues remain subject to these Terms.

5.3 No gambling

Fantasy Rivals is not a gambling product. There are no real-money stakes, entry fees, or cash-out mechanisms. If any jurisdiction classifies the App's features as requiring a gambling licence, we will restrict access in that jurisdiction.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free tier

The core Fantasy Rivals experience is free. Free users will see advertisements served by Google AdMob.

6.2 Ad-removal subscription

We offer an optional subscription that removes advertisements:

Prices are in US dollars and may vary slightly by region due to platform pricing tiers.

6.3 Billing and auto-renewal

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play (via RevenueCat as our subscription management provider). When you subscribe:

• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings — Settings > [Apple ID / Google Account] > Subscriptions on iOS and Android respectively.

6.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds ourselves.

6.5 Price changes

We may change subscription prices in the future. Any price increase will take effect at your next renewal date, and you will be notified in advance by Apple or Google in accordance with their platform requirements. You can cancel before the new price applies.

7. Advertising

Free-tier users will see advertisements delivered by Google AdMob. These ads may use device identifiers and other signals in accordance with Google's advertising policies to show you relevant content. You can limit ad personalisation through your device's privacy settings.

Subscribing to the ad-removal plan will disable all in-app advertisements.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our rights

The Fantasy Rivals name, logo, design, code, and all original content within the App are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our prior written consent.

8.2 Your content

By uploading a profile photo or choosing a display name, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that content within the App for the purpose of operating the service (for example, showing your name and avatar on leaderboards and in leagues). You retain ownership of any content you upload.

8.3 Football data

Fantasy Rivals uses publicly available football fixture and result data. We do not claim ownership of match results, team names, or competition names. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Deleting your account will permanently remove your profile, picks history, league memberships, and all associated data from our systems, subject to any retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy.

If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription billing. Please cancel your subscription through your device's account settings before or after deleting your account to avoid further charges.

10. Disclaimers

10.1 "As is" service

Fantasy Rivals is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from bugs or security vulnerabilities.

10.2 No financial advice

Nothing in the App constitutes financial, betting, or gambling advice. Fantasy Rivals is an entertainment product.

10.3 Third-party content

We are not responsible for the accuracy of football data sourced from third parties, nor for the content of third-party advertisements displayed in the App.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales:

• Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of enjoyment.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of Fantasy Rivals after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with any changes, your remedy is to stop using the App and delete your account.

14. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Fantasy Rivals at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or if continued provision of the service becomes impractical. Where possible we will give you reasonable notice before taking action.

On termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as limitation of liability, indemnification, and intellectual property) will continue to apply.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of residence.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of Fantasy Rivals.
